About Me

I’m currently earning a BS in Anthropology with a minor in Geography and a certificate in GIS from Arizona State University. After that, I’ll be pursuing a Master’s in Library and Information Science (MLIS) at San José State University, with the goal of working in cultural and digital archiving — particularly in museum and historical contexts.

I’m especially interested in:

  • Historical recipe reconstruction

  • Foodways, trade, and colonialism

  • Archives as sites of memory and power

  • Material culture and everyday tools

  • Cultural preservation in the digital age

Eventually, I may pursue a PhD in Social Anthropology or a related field — not just to conduct research, but to build a bridge between the past and present through stories and artifacts.
